Go inside the art and tradition of true Neapolitan pizza with Chef Mirko D’Agata, Director of the AVPN School of Montréal.

Watch the dough prepared by hand, learn the technique of balling, and follow the preparation of three Neapolitan classics: Mastunicola, Marinara and Margherita.

Along the way, Mirko will share the history, origins and ingredients behind each pizza — bringing together technique, tradition and the authentic craft passed down through generations.

English Session

Join Chef Chris Beall, Chef Serge Desjardins and Saputo Cheese Specialist Dexter Leung for a practical look at pizza mozzarella and how cheese selection impacts melt, stretch, browning and oven performance.

Join guest judge Chef Chuck Hughes and the Saputo team for a lively session on creating memorable restaurant experiences that go beyond the plate, with practical ideas for driving traffic, engaging guests and building that all-important “wow” factor.

Stay with us as we celebrate the competitors and announce the Gold Pizza Competition category winners.

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served in the Perspective room at the Montréal Science Centre, in the same location as the competition.

Space is limited. All attendees, including competitor guests, must RSVP for the Awards Celebration at check-in.
